On Sunday, our owner, Sukhdev Laura, participated in a 100 km bike ride from Mission to Surrey to fundraise for Guru Nanak’s Free Kitchen Society (GNFK). He had a goal of $500 and is happy to say he has since surpassed that! Way to go Sukh, we’re proud of you!
GNFK provides free meals to those less fortunate in the downtown eastside and they are fundraising to open a permanent location 7 days a week. If anyone is still interested in donating, the link is open until January 31, 2022.
